Beginning this summer, the Hillside Public Library is excited to offer the first items available for check out in our “Library of Things” collection. 

The “Library of Things” collection will consist of unique and non-traditional library items available for our patrons to borrow. In order to participate and check out the items, Patron’s library accounts must be in good-standing and free of fines.

Please visit this page and look out for updates on the library’s social media accounts, digital newsletters, and weekly email newsletters. Available items will include:

  • Bird watching kits
  • Lawn games (cornhole, bean bag toss, etc)
  • Pickleball sets
  • Telescope
  • Happy birthday signs
  • Tonie Box audio player
  • Tonie audio characters
  • Children’s steam on the go sets

 

 

The Hillside Public Library is not responsible for museum closings due to weather, refurbishment, or special events. 
Please contact the museum prior to your trip to confirm hours of operation.

Check the library's website to confirm that the library is open prior to picking up your museum pass. If the library is closed on the day that you are scheduled to pick up your pass, please contact the library the day before to request an early pickup.
